(1) If there is a school closing or delayed opening, an announcement
will be on the University's
snow and emergency number (519-4505), the Law School's snow and emergency
number
(519-7744), voice mailboxes of University telephones, and on KYW Radio
(1060).
KYW does not mention school names, using instead a number identification
system. Villanova's identification numbers on KYW are:

(2) The College of Nursing has a special procedure for the closing of
its clinical practicum
courses. The procedure may be obtained from the College of Nursing.
All other Nursing
courses are subject to the following rule.
(3) When there is a delayed opening for Full-Time Undergraduate
Day School, one of the
following will be announced, depending on conditions and day.
Please pay close attention to
the specific announcement.
For Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes, the delay will be either:
1 hour, with the class day beginning at 9:30 A.M.(the second regularly
scheduled class of the
day) OR
2 hours, with the class day beginning at 10:30 A.M.(the third regularly
scheduled class of the
day)
For Tuesday and Thursday classes, the delay will be:
1-1/2 hours, with the class day beginning at 10:00 A.M.(the second
regularly scheduled class
of the day)
